Baby boomers please identify the car in this video, I would like to know what it is. Everyone else listen to the lyrics, you might be able to relate to the song, I know I sure did back in high school.

Enjoy!

Gee Dom that was easy:)
Yeah,I was expecting maybe a Henry J or a Kaiser Fraiser or Kaiser Manhattan, maybe a Tucker or a Crosley, possibly a Wiilys Aero.Though it could've been easier for some by being a Studebaker,Packard or DeSoto,I figured any of those might've puzzled Dom,but a 64 Galaxie 500? Dom we're going to take you by the hand at JC Whitney and give you a crash course in American car recognition. If you go to Sycamore you'll need your camera and a notebook to take notes, there ought to be nearly 1000 cars there this year around the end of July.

Well, I won't agree that it was that easy; I mean, shouldn't we consider how much of that "song" we had to endure before getting to see the Galaxie?

I used to not like it either since it's pretty much all spoken word, but it grew on me. Like REALLY grew on me. Their first album is one of my favorite of all time right beside The Roy Orbison Story. ;)

Every morning when I go to work I hear that song playing in my head.
But don't worry,as soon as they finish taxing the working man to death we'll all be singing it.
