Soo my uncle is thinking about getting a 2008 lamborghini galardo so he put a $10,000 deposit down to test drive It for 5 days it's yellow and probably the sexeist car I have ever seen in my life. I mean this thing is the simply georgous and I think it's straight up nasty! Has anyone ever rode in one?

Yes there are Bently GT's, Ferrari's all those type of cars in MD they are everywhere but you dont see them until summertime ofcourse. Last year Doom and I went to Church last year and there were about 5 Lambo'sout there. So MD is pretty good for any type of car :D

I have a client with a Gallardo Superleggera. I have some seat time in it - the battleship color makes it look like a dark grey wedge. It is lighter than the regular Gallardo because of no sound system and carbon fiber door panels and rear engine compartment lid. The Gallardo is a poor-man's Lamborghini with a V10 and regular doors. If you really wanna get the legs apart - spring for the Murcielago Roadster.

I dont know, my Lambo has been quite a disappointment, I much prefer tooling around in my Pantera GTS and/or my Ferarri Daytona.

I've driven in a seized one, black. Couldn't go hog wild, but it was nice enough. It's a "please-somebody-look-at-me-validate-me" car. Won't see many competing in anything, or going anywhere near their limits.

It looks like I'm the only one so far who's driven one. It was my son's favorite car but not mine. But for my last birthday the wife upon his advice offered me 5 racetrack laps in a Cayman and... 5 laps in a Gallardo!

I wouldn't have thought I'd be saying this because seeing them driving around I figured they had an ugly high pitch yelp and were fancy boy show-off cars.

Boy was I proved wrong. It was like nothing I've ever driven, and I left astonished that mankind could actually conceive and build such a machine.

Possibly driving a lame Cayman S around the track made me more impressionable. But heck, it wasn't just the incredible torque and 550 horsies moving you along, it was that you could take any kind of reckless trajectory and correct at the last minute. I even had the professional driver sitting in the passenger seat in a sweat after lap 2. It is GLUED to the road but still requires driving skill even if it is very forgiving. Especially, it is the only car you can safely say is better than sex. (just kidding)

So I went from a Lambo snob, especially thinking that the small V-8 model was the poor man's Murceliago. Heck I wouldn't trade a Gallardo for his bigger brother or for any car alive if I ever owned one. But that's for another life.

He didnt get it. I think reality hit him when he went to his insurance company to get a "Quote" lol he does own several expensive cars though. Range Rover, DTS,F250,Old lincoln continental i forget the year mabey late 60's :dunno:

Hi Mike,

He probably did the right thing, it in INCREDIBLE on a racetrack but would be a tough car to drive on city streets and side roads. Real low slung with next to no clearance, and you can't park it anywhere without having a heart attack. Plus, it is too hard to get up and out of, 'cause you just want to stay the rest of your life in that driver's seat, and it is too uncomfortable to sleep in. :D

I think that if dreams were meant to come true, we'd all be fast asleep!
