I hear a rumor thst the lad in photo is not Todd's nephew, rather his youngest's last date! There's an audio tape with TAF's voice saying, "and if you take your hands out of your pockets, I'll show you how good the brakes are!"

Reminds me of how my father taught me how to drive in 1965, once he learned I already had my legit license, sans the radar snitch...

Marty, where do you come up with this stuff?

Todd, why do you put up with this stuff?

Logan...Nevermind. This is probably how you learned too.

I wonder if the junior is wearing sandals?

If so, this may be justified behavior, ala "The Omen."

Y'all are sick for looking at this.

And I'm sick for thing it's funny, and worthy of my remarks.

My head hurts, I'm going to go lay down now...

Ahh yes, another form of discipline to a "red headed step child".

Because:

Marty has very little excitement in his life...if I can provide an outlet...I will.

Marty spends his day with "bottom-feeders" and he needs something to "bring him up from the depths".

Because I have to work for a living and can't spend all of my time on the internet, like our well-off friend Marty can.

And last, but not least....

Marty knows I can take it.

I found out where that picture came from. Goes with this

Dear Abby,

I recently read your column advising grandparents on "tough love." It
offered advice to grandparents with respect to misbehaving grandchildren
whose own parents let them run wild. I have followed your advice, and
enclose a picture demonstrating the technique I employ on my grandson when
he just won't behave. They do not allow me to spank him, so I just take him
for a ride, and he usually calms down afterward.

Sincerely,

Tough Love Grandma
