All 3 of the cars are within the same price range.

The Mustang isn't a "base" it's the GT w/ the trac pack.

As tested:
The Camaro $35,380.00
The Mustang $35,625.00
The Challenger $36,710

From what I read they didnt compare them all side by side, they did the Camaro seperately right? Id like to see them do it side by side myself. That said, they are al nice cars and Id take any one of them.

That would make the Mustang the more "Bang for Your Buck" once again.

Wasn't the Camero SS as well as the convertable cancelled?

No, you're thinking of the Z28 Camaro. The SS (400hp with auto, 426hp with stick) is still a go.

Actually the Camaro SS performance wise is the "bang for your buck" car.

I just don't get the Camaro's styling...the front end is horrible and the interior is a friggin' mess!
What's up with that 'scuba mask' instrument panel??....:puke:
Then they bury all 4 auxillary gauges down on the console...WTF?....
Heck, I'm not a big fan of the Marauder's twin gauges...but they are closer, bigger and much easier to read than those tiny black Camaro gauges.

- The Challenger looks the best...by far!
- Ford ruined the Mustang in 2010 with that pointier front end styling and that crappy looking slanted/sloped rearend.
- The Camaro...I just don't get it.

I'm not wild about the Camaro's interior styling, but I absolutely love everything else. I say this as a Mustang GT owner: I want a new Camaro. Bad. I'll wait a couple of model years to see what gets refined/fixed and then decide what to do. But man, that engine and manual trans combo in the SS is tempting.

I'm not sure the Camaro...or even GM will be around in a couple of years...:o

Yeah I don't like the Camaro styling at all. Dodge did good with the Challenger with pure old school style refreshed. The new Mustang once you see it in person it looks a lot better especially in a dark color.

Dash layout and styling at it's best!
Just because it was popular 40 years ago doesn't mean that it is a good idea today.

BTW: The 2010 Mustang's gauges have crappy graphics/numbering...almost as bad as the 2004 Mach I & Bullitt gauges.

I could be wrong, but I think in 2010 or 2011 the Mustang is coming out with a DOHC 4.6 that puts out 400 Horsepower.

I like the Challenger, but the Mustang is 700 pounds lighter.

I think Ford will be around longer than Chrysler.

I think the current Ford Mustang looks more like a 1968 Mustang whereas the new Camaro does not look like a 1969 Camaro, if they had made this new Camaro look like a 1969 Camaro this car would be a winner just like the Challenger.
