Need info Marauder into a 88 Merc. GM

Yeah, I'm loving the styles of the Marauders. Every feature it has to offer, from under the hood to the black paint. I even test drove one for the first, and fell definitely in love with the car. But I can't afford it right now. So I have a box 88 Mercury Grand Marquis, not even close to being the same as the Marauder besides the Make "Mercury". But I was wondering what kind of modifications as in motor wise, tranny wise and other little details. That can make my Mercury some what in similar to the 03-04 Marauders. Also can a 88 Ford Crown Vic backend (tail lights & trunk) fit on mine. I figure probably not the way both tail lights are shaped. But if its a way to that let me know.

this is what i was rockin before the marauder.'91 ford crown vic with shorty headers and gt40 heads were a nice step up. not marauder power but enough low end torque/hp to have a good time.

Your 88 Marquis tail lamps look better than the crown vic ones of that year IMO. You can always black out the whole car and then put Marauder wheels on it. Would look pretty nice.

Check with CVN they should be able to help you more. In the end your car will never become a Marauder no matter how much you throw into it. The year is way off and ford has changed their technology alot since then. I'm not being harsh its just honesty.
