and i like it! my panther is now exactly what i wanted it to look like when i started. this is the project that i was working on for the past week. the whole idea started from this drawing/rendering i did to get some ideas

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u232/sanco2k05/SCAN0004-1.jpg

overall i am VERY happy with the result. it is NOT DONE YET!! there is still a little body work left to smooth out the wrinkles and paint needs to be re-applied. but for now this is the result. the fog light bezels are coming in on monday, and fog lights will be put on probably later on this month or mid may. also i will be installing a mesh in the air dam in the middle to just clean it up a little untill an intercooler replaces it  well here are some pics

thanks guys!!! yea it was a hellofa lot of work

takedown, i plan on doing a 03 cobra chin spoiler, i think the mach1 would be tooooo much hanging off the front.

impalaslayer, no i didnt use tons of bondo. bumper is held in with screws and a bracing in the back to hold the screws safelly in. than an epoxy that hardens into plastic was used for the gaps and as a bridge for the bondo. bondo was the last step to smoothe out the imperfections and fill in gaps. this is why you can still bend the bumper and not worry about cracks :D

o and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of sanding lol, im sick of it lol

o and yea fog lights are gonna go in once i get some more money lol, kinda broke now

Good work.

I noticed you said you used body filler to smooth the bumper...technically you shouldn't use body filler on plastic repairs, because it expands and contracts at different rates. I have gotten away with using light skim coats of a poly putty before....I don't know what you used, but for body working a bumper, I like the 3m ez sand. I usually use a SEM plastic repair for anything structural.

thanks duuuds...yea i did play a little in the snow :D

and rock, yea i used it but in a light and layered ammount. i also used a plastic-like epoxy to act as a main bridge between the bondo, so the bondo just acted as a filler in between to seal the gaps dats all. no worries, i didnt pile it on lol when it was applied it was also done in light layers instead of heavy coats.
