Wonder if the seller bought them from the run Marty did, that required a signed agreement not to sell them for profit. I guess Marty didn't charge enough.
With the economy the way it is I would expect to see this going on. The problem is how do you enforce the agreement.

And how would you prove it. They're not serialized. Maybe the ones with the signed agreement were put on a car but another set that was purchased from a previous production run are the ones for sale on ebay?

I'm holding onto the pair of badges JD threw in with my Marauder.
One might end up in a large framed picture of the Merc.

You need a set Jake?
I need a set, Marty doesn't reply to his PM's and other messages. I asked him if he had anymore or for the source so I could get them made

Come on now, if you have ribs you expect some of us to believe you'd part with them?!
If he wants them bad enough he will! Marty made me sign a paper on selling them but it said nothing about horse trading! So what you got Doomie! :D:D:D:coolman::rock:

Most guys mount 'em on the front fenders, just above the trim strip.

I've always wondered how they'd look on the c-Pillar, like some of the old GMs and how Lincolns have the signature series' badges put there. Any one tried this? Pics?

Might not look too bad.
If you get a set, just mount 'em up on the C-pillar temporaily with some clear tape and then step back and take a look; might look cool.
