I just bought a '03 300A and am picking it up Monday. Thought it only has 11,000 miles on it and is bone stock. Some cars have a few mods that when done make it the car it was supposed to be from the factory. Are there any mods that should be done on the car to make it perform better for an all around day to day driver. I'm not taking it to the drag strip, at least not yet! Any suggestions?

You can pick up a used sct xcal2 for around $175-$225 just make sure its unlocked. I personally just got a zack tune and I love it. Like dtr said intake, gear, and tune and that'll wake the car up.

Any suggestions on an intake and tune?

If you want a tune thats good for daily driving with smooth firm shifts and wont put your motor on the edge of destruction, buy the lidio tune from wes @ innovativeinterceptors.com (forum vendor) I've had mine since January and its a huge improvement over stock.

IMO you dont need a dyno tune until you have a good reason for it (like a full exhaust or headers or FI)

intake,tune,410 gears
but first you need (410's) and a tune to match ..... Some folks think 355's and a 410 tune will work hummmmm not ....hahaha try underdrives and intake ,intake spacer, tune to match for n/a or go big trilogy or pro charger booohahaha

Wow...no shortage of ideas! From a quick tune to forced air! Sounds like gears and a few bolt on's is the way to go!
Thanks!

Welcome fellow Canadian! My first mods were a K&N intake, XCal tune from Alternative Auto, and mufflers.

Have fun. There are a couple of members in your area. Chader and Aren Jay.

Have fun.

How much $ is the Trilogy? Is it better than the water-cooled kit from Rinehart?

Not mine, but if this deal was any cheaper, he would have to close the doors....

I don't know what kit Rinehart is selling, but I can speak volumes about Trilogy, boost is by far the best all around mod, and these kits are complete, and, fairly easy to install.

All replies are great for you to consider....but what I am blown away with is
how did you fine an MM with such LOW mileage????................hec k.......even more so.....a car that is 6+ years old --who could have kept miles off it for so long?----just curious.......carry on and BTW---- do just one upgrade at a time to appreciate it like steps on a ladder--- you will fell better in the end......but don't stop with just one........have fun........

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site and your new ride.

I have U/D pullies, K&N filtercharger, and a SCT 1725 tune. It really woke the car up.

I have a K&N, Steeda underdrive pulley, Xcal2 and coming this week; 4:10's. The Trilogy Intercooled blower is a roots-type supercharger that is engineered so well that it makes it difficult to differentiate what is stock and what is Trilogy under the hood after the install. The price is not important, it's kinda like buying food. Sure it may be expensive - but it IS an absolute necessity to live. No - I don't have mine yet but I am starving!!

The only mod you will ever need unless you want to go faster than 12.9 @107mph in the 1320 with stock tires and then you "might" want to go to a smaller pulley-$125.00 or less. There are other options for Super Chargers but only one leader of the pack. Within a couple of 200 kits sold, NO unhappy customers, NO engine blowups and NO one ever got screwed by this vendor and that is not true of the other options where many have been abused, some very recently in a long string of horror stories. Join the Trilogy family and never look back. There is no better vendor or better friend than Jerry Barnes....and it comes with a Lidio tune..The best in the business. Neither will ever let you down.
