I know this is sort of a random question but, do they have a better radiator that will fit our cars maybe something lighter. Just a thought that popped into my head, don't need one or anything, just wondering, thanks for any info.

THe OEM rad. is Aluminum, unless you know of a lighter material it's already as light as it gets.

I believe Reinhart has one on his site.

There is a bigger one, but that won't be lighter because of the higher capacity. It's quite expensive.

I no longer install any radiators in the 4.6. Whatever the source, they all leaked within 6 mos. Even an OEM from Modine leaked after 2 mos. Ford exchanged it, but the one year warranty is tolled from the date of purchase of the first one. I'm fleet taxicab and the Crowns put on a lot of mileage and I wish someone made a good radiator.

Alright let me amend my first question a bit, I said lighter, which maybe wasn't the best way to phrase it, is there a radiator for racing or something, better then what we have stock, does anyone on the forum have an aftermarket radiator, here is a link to a radiator that I randomly saw on ebay that sort of got me thinking about it in the first place http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MISHIMOTO-RACING-RADIATOR-FANS-96-Ford-Mustang-GT-Cobra_W0QQitemZ280321467351QQc mdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Tru ck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item 280321467351&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1171%7C65%3A12% 7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 I don't really know anything when it comes to this stuff, but I never read anything about radiators so I just thought I would put the question out there.

YES. Griffin. All-aluminum construction. Had it in for about 4 years, never a problem. Very expensive.

A stock radiator for racing is just fine, even at 130,000 miles on the clock. But if you have an over heating problem, it's probably not because of racing.
