Be careful...Wabbits are kind of untouchable around here...Bunny has the buttons!

She can blow you right into the middle of next month in a heart beat you get even a little bit jiggy with the bunnies.

My cat Leo has unfortunately killed every rabbit in our neighborhood.
Occationally he will bring a small live one in the house through the cat door and I will take it deep into the wood.

Leo got wise and now brings dead ones as trophies.

Here is a recent image of the hunter Leo taken with my new 11mm f2.8 lens.
Those feet are made for catching large prey!

Cool Thread!

....because....

Guess what I saw this morning as I was watering my freshly sowed grass seed?
Yep! A baby Easter bunny.

This little guy had popped out of a nest in the mulch surrounding a tree in my front yard.
He started to wander off into the yard, and we have lots of cats in the area....so I put him back in the nest with his sibling(s).
Can you see the nest after I put him back?
Almost impossible!

They were still hunkered down in the nest when I got home this afternoon.

These mofo's do the same thing all over my back yard. Last year I was cutting the grass (i tend to let it get high before I cut it) and heard a WHUMP and a wad of fur shot out from under the mower. There were 3 bebbe rabbits tucked down in a hole, I shaved the top off thier hideout and how none got killed is amazing. I looked around and marked a few other spots where there was "fur camoflage" and mowed around them. My backyard looked like a golf course/wildlife habitat. This year, they better run for the hills, no mercy.
