Hi gang,
Just wondering how some of you with the stainless steel brake (flex) lines feel they are holding up.
I understand that it is a big improvement over oem.
I am questioning the durabilaty since recently a member seems to have had a problem with his.
Those of you that are satisfied with yours please relay to me the brand name that you have and where you purchased them as this will be my next upgrade.
Thanks for your time.

Been wondering the same thing after reading recent threads anbout the quality. No room for failure whith an item like this.

I think there has only been 1, one, eins, uno, një, един, # 一;一个, jedan, én, üks, isa, une, एक, U [때로는 C;보통 관사 없이] (기수의), один, bir reported failure that I can remember. That's a pretty good track record considering the number that have been sold. Who knows if that one was even installed correctly?

Bottom line.... one of the best upgrade you can do to your MM.

I got mine from DR in a group buy a couple of years ago.
The break peddle is much firmer. I often carry heavy loads in my trunk, and braking performance does improve dramatically. I see no problem with them at this time. I wasn't familliar with the brand he sent, but the label
sed '05 Marauder ( I thought that was fummy at the time).

So these really improve the stock spongey pedal? I'll have to see if Inline tube makes these as well....

They have been on like 2 years now on BOTH cars -- see Signature below.

They didn't do squat for my spongy pedal.

I have TCE lines no problems here.
Maybe that ONE guy did something wrong with his install.

Did you bleed the brakes? Correctly??

I'm in the process of installing mine while the car is down. So far, I've got the right rear done, LOL.

They didn't do squat for my spongy pedal.

After having them sit in the box for almost a year, I went to Royal PITA's Ford Dealership and had them installed. I already bleed the brake fluid once a year, but had the Tech who installed the lines also bleed the brakes yet again (with Dot 4). He went over it twice to make sure he got all new fluid in.

I feel 0 (ZERO) difference with the spongy pedal. The tech who did the work has more experience then I have in years alive and he found NOTHING wrong in my brake system.

I guess I was hoping that these brake lines firm up the brakes (like some of my other cars).

Not a worth while mod IMO.
