Cutt, what are you running for mods?
Johnny
hey my car is bone stock right now.i did remove the silencer in the maf hose and i drilled some small holes in the bottom and side of my air filter box,so if you look down on the air filter box you cant see them.when you get down on it you can really here it sucking a lot more air.next will be a k&n filter.but the secret to getting it run is to ice the intake down before a run.

Wow. Literally put some ice on the intake on top of the engine? Do you leave the ice on during your run?
I'm taking mine to the drag strip tomorrow. I was planning on letting it
really cool off alot before making my run.
Johnny
hope i caught you before you left for the track.they wont let you run at the track if you have water dripping from your car at the line.cover the intake with ice for about 20 minutes, make sure its all melted by the time there are about 5 cars in front of you.i also crack the coolant top just to let pressure out.you will hear it hiss when you do that then tighten it back before the pass.by that time hopefully the temp guage should be on the C.the closer to C on the temp guage the better.try not let it run in staging lanes.i kept it off until it was time to go to line.GOOD LUCK!

Hey, cutt. Whatcha runnin on that? Im a lil too far away from N'awlins to get my first look at a MM, but im hoping to see one here one day.
last time at the track before the air filter box mod it went 15.00 at 94 with a sad 2.4 short time. i might go back this week looking for a 14.80 bone stock.

I just got back from the meet and I pulled a 14.84, 14.89 and 15.12.
The speed difference was ENTIRELY based on how much I kept the
engine cool before the run.
I had 38 F air blowing at about 20 mph to cool it between runs.
In the 14.84 run I cooled it and then pushed it all the way to the entrance to burnout pit with the engine off. :)
My RT sucked, my best RT was .9x.
Smoked a Honda Accord, and a VW Scirrocco with a rollcage X 2.
