Got A Promotion

I started here at Chapman Ford in Feb. as Assist. Parts Mgr.
After about 45 days they asked if I would take the Parts Mgrs.position. I wasn't sure if I really wanted it after 39 years of being at Northeast L/M and 27 as Parts Mgr. Well I finally gave in and told them I would only do it for the right price. After they tried to haggle I got my price. I am now the Parts Mgr of a much larger dealership with many more headaches. The place needs a lot of work but I love a challenge. Wish me luck, Thanx Ray

My L/M dealer closed up their seperate offices (sales, parts, and repairs)and merged with their Ford dealership next door.
All the guys I've been dealing with since '92 when I got my Cougar are gone. So its back to the Ford side of things where I started back when I moved here in 1980 with my T-Bird.
