My sister totaled my first car today. she was turning left at the light at cumberland and conner street in town on her way to school, and the light turned yellow, so she started to turn. there was an illegal immigrint in the oncoming lane that decided to floor it on the yellow and hit the front left corner of the van, totaling it. the lady got out of her truck and came up, asking my sister if she was ok. and ... my dad was the first LEO on scene (which is weird because he's in admin now...) and when he got there, suddenly the lady "didnt speak no english". She had a suspended license, no insurance, and a baby in the truck with her. so the van is totaled, and my parents only have minimal insurance on it, so because she got hit by an uninsured driver, the van gets no replacement. so my sister killed the van. needless to say, from what ive heard, my house is down a vehicle and im trying to stifle talk of her borrowing my CVPI til she gets a new car. Anybody selling a car they could let go for cheap? I dont think they have a huge budget, but i also dont know what their price range is. pretty much anything under 5,000 dollars would be something they would look into. Looking for something safe and reliable. any and all help is greatly appreciated guys

Check the for sale forum.
Hope your sis is okay. We have a local swap shop rag called The Trading Post, I've actually picked up 2 beater vehicles out of it. One of my banks has a flyer with cars, furniture, you name for sale from members of the bank. Maybe yours does.
Sidenote: If we'd legalize the estimated 11.9 million illegals, they would all get insurance and we wouldn't have to read sad stories like this. Bwaaahahahahaaaa, I kill me...

There is NO such thing as an illegal immigrant. That's an oxymoron, they're criminals, trespassers and aliens. I am tired of being politically correct.

Here in Maryland, the state that is proud to be almost as liberal as California and Massachusetts, we GIVE Illegal Aliens licenses!

I really want to move out of this Democratically controlled $h*ithole of a state!

Thanks for the hot tip. I still don't know how an immigrant is illegal. Immigrants did it legally with proper documentation. Crossing a border under the cover of darkness is NOT immigration. See how chimp-simple that was cupcake?

I have a car I was willing to GIVE away to anyone that took over payments - I know it's a little late but it's a 2006 Taurus. I wound up bellying up $16,290 to get it off my credit. I have to keep in now - I would lose bigtime if I sold it. You can buy them for $4000 all day long.

immigrant is just one who migrates it does not connote legality just because some site on the internet says so... furthermore the rhetorical implication needs to be deliberate in an oxymoron
