Yes it was sold. I beleive in the neighborhood of $ 36,000.

What a cool looking car. It went for over $37K.

The car was displayed on a turntable at the NY Autoshow and the gawkers around it were three-four deep.

If they had made that car at a reasonable price, I would have bought one (instead of my Bird.)

But, considering the 38K dealers were asking for the first sedans, the convertible would most likely have been at least 5K more.

That's getting up there, although we've all seen sky high pricing come down real quick as cars sit on the lots unsold.

With sedans now running around 30K, 35K for the convertible might have been a little more realistic.

We'll never know.
