Keep this one on track please! :mad:
450hp +/- and it ran fine. Till I did that 1 minute burnout in Atlanta 11/07. Still ran great for another 2K miles then it blew up. If I woulda changed the fluid, it probably woulda been fine.

Yeah, I always wondered about that. Looked great, but dang, it had to be tough on the equipment.

Yeah, it was something!
IMO, he should have won the burnout contest, much better than the Wimpala's with the goofy colored smoke....lame.

Along these lines, my car has 78k on it, original transmission, 15000 miles on the Trilogy. Not all at Charlies power level though.
I've had my transmission totally flushed at the dealer 3 times and a pan drop and filter(screen) swapped once.
It works excellent yet.... so far.... but the power level will be greater in the very near future.
I've been real happy with trans, but I've been careful about fluid levels and cooling.
I also only hit it hard with OD off.
