Saturday I was putting my daughter in the car...I saw a car roll up out the side of my eye. My folks that live around back of me hops out and says..."You know I totalled my car?!" I was like damn I JUST saw you the other day. He said he was going a little too fast on the beltway...in the rain...with BFGs on the rear. I told him to get on the site AGAIN and look for another one, he said he wanted another one. He plans on getting it from the insurance company and hopefully I can help him part it out. :D I was just letting you all know...1. If he parts it out and 2. A record of another Marauder down.

If it's a 2004 I got complete and absolute dibs on the damn dash piece that goes across the dash under the radio and airbag.

Wow the only way to override complete and absolute dibs is if I lick it before you do!!

Well...I talked to my man about his car. Sadly...the ins company has the car and he is not getting it back. I was a little confused about that...I had a car totalled and my ins co. said they would give me less money if I kept the car. Oh well. But he said he had his eye on another Marauder out of state...hope it works out for him. So sorry fellas if I got your hopes up.

Find out what salvage yard it's going to.

I guess I'm WAY TOO conservative in my driving habits. I've wrecked a motorcycle (Ninja 750, after doing too many tequila shots in my young-and-dumb youth) but I have NEVER wrecked an automobile.

Sorry to hear about the wreck.

He didn't ask...or they didn't give him a price for a 'salvage' buy back???

I asked my insurance company how much it would cost to buy back my stepson's totalled '95 GM and the price they quoted was very resonable.
They deducted that amount from the settlement check and told me it was mine.
I can make back the money by parting out the GM and have some useful spare parts to boot.
I just received the salvage title from the MVA last week.

Joe..I dont think he asked AND I dont think they informed him. I will ask him bout the salvage yard and I will try to convince him to buy it back to part it out. I need a window switch ASAP!

Nate you may get lucky most cars go to waldorf.
