I almost had one of our new guys broadside me responding to a call. I was headed with lights and siren down a five lane road, he came blasting out of a side street sideways, no lights no siren, responding to the same call I was headed to. I jammed on the brakes and went up on the sidewalk to get away from him. Needless to say that wne all was said and done he and I had a nice chat about his driving ability.
