That's right ladies and gentlemen. I going to be the Godfather of the child of Dez Cadina. If you don't know who he is, he was in the band Black Flag for a few years, was the singer and guitarist and now plays with The Misfits.

I was hanging out with his last weekend and he popped the question around 12:30am when we were eating tocos with his lovely wife. I always liked kids so it's nice to know someone would put their trust in me like this. :)

I know some of you probably think this guy is on drugs for even considering such a thing with me, but those who know me well know it's a good match.

A godparent, in many denominations of Christianity, is someone who sponsors a child's baptism. Judaism has this equivalent in the circumcision ceremony. A male godparent is a godfather and a female godparent is a godmother. The child is a godchild (godson, goddaughter).

I also believe that if anything happens to the parents, the responsibility of raising the child falls to you.
