I went down to my uncles house in WVA sunday and he has a SRT-8 Magnum. OMG he took me for a test drive that car scared the shid out of me. You dont feel ANY bumps at all it accelerates with very little throttle. And on top of that the bastard ran 12.8 BONE STOCK :awe: he added a C&L CAI,180t stat,Diablo 91 octane tune, and an electric fan and runs 12.1 OMG. I think i may be looking for a magnum. Hate me if u like :P i think im in LOVE

I test drove a used one two years ago, and it was truly a beast. One thing that scared me was an invoice inthe glove box from Discount Tire for a brand new set of run flat tires. It was about $1600 for 4 new run flats. Although, that may be better than having 2 rear tires that you just can't get, period.

My wife works at a Dodge dealership. The SRT-8 in any of the latest models is a beast; especially in the lighter Charger. I had to really HANG on to the steering wheel; the pull these things have a scary fun!

The Magnum SRT was Mr. Man's first choice and the Marauder his second choice for my car. ;) I tested the Magnum but didn't like the hunkered down feeling inside. Luckily I choose the Marauder. There's a little more to life than going fast. (Not much......but a little) :D

All that means is that you need to put a Blower on your MM, and you can get 12.3 with a little practice.

What was wrong with the other lights?Low beam on one of the bulbs burnt up and the replacement bulbs were $65 each, for a few bucks more I would just buy another kit since the McCulloch kit I bought only came with a two year warranty and that's already been up. The kit I got is very popular with the Euro crowd and haven't read any negative reviews and with lifetime warranty can't beat that.

Just because they traded it in with low mileage doesnt automatically make it a piece of crap.... eventhough its a chrysler...

My brother got his 06 charger R/T with 10k miles last summer because the first owner needed a pickup for his business so he traded it in on a ram.

One thing i can tell you about those Hemi's is you can't have as much fun per dollar of fuel as or cars...my son has a 95 Magnum and it pulls nice but man can you really see the gas go down when you are playing I can squeeze 19 mpg out of the Marauder and the Magnum but I can whip the Marauder a bunch of times and not have the mileage go down to bad ,but one WOT up a long freeway on ramp and the Magnum has drang 1/4 of a tank

Paid cash i planned to finance but they wanted $500 a month i had NO credit and wasnt gonna put down anything until i heard that! Went to the bank and got a cashiers check out to Koons Ford :D

Here's what I want to know.

My car run's 12.92 with DR's / 13.1-13.3 consistant with streets.

If they are running 12.8's STOCK, then why is it I have no problem against them on the street?

Of course to be fair, I don't street race, but from stopped OR from a roll I pull them hard and keep pulling away till I let off at 50-60. I know that this is my roots charger doing this work down low but I don't see any way for them to catch up.

Basically they feel like any mid 13 sec i've ever been up against. But the potential to be built up is awesome with many more parts then we will ever see and much better prices. In just a few short years I can see most of these having some kind of mods and once again sending smaller HP cars like mine scrambling to come up with something!

My thought is this: You say "sorry, but I may be sold on an SRT-8", but you also say "Can't justify 6k for an MM blower". Don't care what your dealership sells the SRT for, but its going to be about 6 times the cost of the blower. So, your arguement doesn't erally add up unless there are additional considerations.
But, hey, maybe someone has pointed this out already in 11 pages.
Also, people lie. This is not a new thing since the advent of "House". People have always lied. They constantly tell everyone that there car is stock when the get outrageous numbers on our dyno. However, most of them can't help but tell me the truth "in confidence". Yeah, folks, whatever floats your boat. Why you would do that, though, is just beyond me.
