And what type? Blackhawk UH-60, Kiowa OH-58, Chinook CH-47, Black, Green, White/Orange, Blue -- shiney or dull paint? Give us some help here.

Maybe President Obama was flying from South Bend, IN (or wherever he was today) to visit some of his Illinois buddies. ;) This might have been his security wingmen. :dunno:

There's NO chance that plane was an escort for Marine 1. The Marines fly the President and would NEVER let the Army escort for us. When I was in Afghanistan last year, the Army shot some rockets into our own base. When Army 4 star Generals came out the Marines flew them around. Even Army generals won't fly with those guys if they don't have to.

i know two of the 3 i saw. Blackhawk, Chinook and some other one. all were a dark color or black. i saw the blackhawk hovering very very low right above the trees at contigny park in winfield. instead of dupage airport, they should go to aurora airport where the air museum is.

They were at Arlington Race track today along with an Osprey,I was at RTE14 and RTE 53 and got to see them flying around.I got a few quick pics if someone can post them here for me.It was the first time I've ever seen an Osprey,pretty cool,the second time around it was led by 2 Chinooks and tailed by 2 Apaches. I put the hammer down on the DTR then and split just in case they were looking for me,lol.:burnout::burn:

They are probably from Whiteman. There is an Army National Guard unit there.
