Hello,
Here is some pictures of my latest addition, a 2DR '87 Grand Marquis. With this the Marauder will begin to draw her 401K retirement plan. The box is amazing and it rides like a sewing machine. The previous owner kept in tiptop shape. Without further ado I present to you my '87 baby Red Velvet...

That BOX has got a great stance---as all of that vintage do---and the interior looks truly cherry. ENJOY!

You're going to use that for a daily driver? Thats a real beauty. I think it would be a sunny day only car for me. What engione does it have in it? You could make a real sleeper out of it.

Charlie;

I think it means "quiet and smooth". At least that's what I infer.

"purrs like a Kitten" - refers to engine only.

"well oiled machine" noisy machine noise but no grinding, thumping or clanking.

Don't you just love that spacious interior.

"Runs like a sewing machine"

"Rides like a sewing machine" would be pretty bouncy, especially if you were on the needle - up and down, up and down, up and down.....

Beautiful car. 302 FI?

yea I meant "runs like a sewing machine". It has the 5.0L(302) Windsor motor in it.I'm look into the eXplorer 5.0 HO swap and a slicktop conversion in the near future. I've been checking out http://www.grandmarq.net (http://www.grandmarq.net/) out. They offer some great information on their forums. Thanks for the positive feedback...

That 87 looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Nice car(s)!

I had a '87 sedan in white before. Loved it. Even though the rust cancered throughout the body, it still had a perfect engine and trans tho, Only had 108k on it.
