This story is about the same JD Power survey results that MAD-3R posted yesterday (Oct. 8) from CNN Money ("We Knew It Looked Good"). Looks like the survey is getting a fair amount of coverage.
Think there are folks reading the coverage who are saying, "what the heck is a Marauder?" It will be interesting to see how many johnny-come-latelys become interested in the Marauder once they're out of production (like the Grand National and the ImpalaSS). I wouldn't be surprised if there are quite a few.

Of course many of us (myself included, for sure) plan to keep our Marauders forever. But holding its value is important in the very unfortunate event of the car being wrecked or stolen (I'm sorry to say I know this from experience with a previous muscle car, but was pleasantly surprised with the insurance company payout). So it's all about what your insurance company will pay if there is some kind of total loss.
Hopefully, it will play out that as Marauders become relatively scarce at some point down the road, their value will hold up.

Another JD Power study, this one about why people avoid purchasing certain cars. On the graph showing the "Top 10 Models Avoided Due to a Lack of Consumer Awareness," take a guess which car near and dear to our hearts came in at No. 2 (right behind the Suzuki Aerio)?
This is outrageous and totally confirms what many folks on MM.net have been saying about lack of marketing/advertising. Detroit, are you taking note?!
On the other hand, it shows we discovered a well-kept secret . . .
