Your tune will be fine. You can even drive your car for a while and it will learn and adapt to the new intake.

remove neg terminal when you install, to drain computer. Clean your MAF too while it's apart.

With my only mods of a K&N CAI (the better kit :cool4:) and tune I ran a 14.5 @ 97.

Good point on cleaning the MAF. This alone can make a large difference if its never been done.

I picked up electrical contact cleaner at Radio shack. It comes in spray can for about $10. Just spray and let air dry. Thats all you have to do. Some members have said using brake cleaner will work as well, but I wouldnt trust that.

WE HAVE LIFT OFF OF MY NEW K&N CAI!!!!!!!!!! :banana2: Took about an hour to install. A couple of minor issues like the bolt and washer that were supposed to go on the bracket attached to the white plastic box that says Marauder wouldn't fit as the bolt was short. So.....I left the washer off. :dunno: The zip tie plan to hold the wires up was a little crude IMHO. The heat shield looks like it might not seal really well around the radiator. But it all fits, looks neat and sounds good! We're taking her for a spin now. Mr. Man asks if there have been any issues with the MAF due to K&N over-oiling the filter? He heard that on the Titan forums.

That will happen to any MAF if the air filter is over oiled. Just buy some MAF cleaner at your local FLAPS.

Drive it for a few days then clean the MAF. I always pat my filters with a paper towel to remove excess oil.

You will feel a difference with it.

I had a K&N air changer, and a flash from Dennis and I was doing 14.6!

I was happy. Now I get mad if I run 13 anything. ;)
