Ray,

That was probably me. If you have red "Marauder" paint on back (black) bumber, then I saw you as I pulled North on Jones. I almost honked, but our cars were misaligned, and you know how honking in Houston goes down (poorly at best).

It's an 04, and it's black. Definately still had my dealer plates on.

Would certainly like to get together with you, Ross and others in H-Town. I live real close to the Jones-Grant intersection, so anywhere in the NW would be cool. What say Sam's Boat at 1960 and 249 for a Friday afternoon beer? We could valet, and line ourselves up front for the crowd. How about this coming Friday afterwork? Sound good?

Tim

Hey TJH-- Depending on who shows up, we may have to meet at a non-bar. I think we have at least one minor on here who would like to get together with us, and we don't want to have to leave him in the parking lot!

Oh Ross...Like you've never "contributed to the deliquency of a minor" before??!!;)

Didn't you serve beer to Marty at Marauderville:lol:

Glad to get some replies. I was getting worried I'd pissed someone off or something.

Bar preferred, but we can work out alternate if needed. Suggest though we keep meeting place Sam's for now. Paying the valet $20 to let us line up all our cars out front would be great. Give it that car show look.

How about TGIF on 1960 and 249...seems lots of us are in NW Houston/Harris..... we could get a table and make sure the minors drink virgin Pina Coladas (SP)

I should be back in town early enough Friday night to get together. I don't know about Sam's boat up in the NW, but the one on Richmond is totally packed on Friday nights.

Let's say 5 pm (or so) this Friday (10/24) at Sam's at 249 and 1960. If underage folks come along, we can shift to Hooters, TGIF or something.

Looking forward to seeing the h-town MM Boys/Girls.

Tim...

PS. Crowd should be very reasonable that early.

I can't do anything this weekend. I've posted this before but there is a barbeque place near me where a bunch of car guys get together most Saturday nights. That's something to do.

Great time had tonight at Sam's. Ray, Dead Vic and Andy showed up. We talk'd family and cars, then showed off our wheels to each other. Thanks for the great advise guys.

Looking foward to the next, maybe December, Houston Roundup!

Engine23ccvfd,

During that stormy hour you're talkin' about, the sirens were almost non-stop. Hope all were OK, with just property damage only. One feirce bolt struck just across the street. I looked out, an saw the wisps of smoke coming off the trees.

Thankfully this time it wasn't mine, having been there done that lst year ($2k in electrical, plus the beautiful 80 foot red oak it took out). My neighbours were fortunate yesterday, just a ratty looking pine tree got toasted.

Regardless, good to meet you the other day. Hope the Y presentation went well. See you in December.

Regards,

Tim
