It's even more fun having seen the cars in person and knowing the owners.
And they are as CLEAN as they are fast! Especially Mike's...

Nope, thats Dave from MCM.

The first two runs were Dave P. (MI2QWK4U). The 2nd two runs were Mike Z. (MikesMerc).

The Ford GT ran 11.91 to 12.36 @ 122.23/124.68 MPH
MMs ran 11.6 to 12.06 @ 114.79/119.65 MPH

Notice the difference in trap speed by the Ford GT which is 5-8 MPH more than the MMs. She was catching up fast but not quick enough at the 1/4 mile marker. As I remember, the Ford GT killed its transmission on that final run.

Would be interesting to see the Shermanator or MarauderTJA go up against the Ford GT and destroy it by more than 1.5 seconds and trap speed too.

Do you Spray? I can't wrap my head around how you trap a 117 with 459HP

No spray, just S/C with headers and a custom dyno tune (93 pump gas tune) and some other stuff.

So do you really only make 459? or is that an old number? I'm just floored by the MPH with that whp is all

Cheeseheadbob

The 459 is the highest of the three pulls Lidio did. The other two were in the 440 range. This car is a freak. Since it was such an early build, there are some odd, but good things about it. All I know is I do a good NHRA burnout with the line lock, roll up to the lights, stage, rev to 2000 rpm and mash the gas pedal through the floor and only let up when I pass the trap.

I'm not trying to start trouble, I just don't care if a car is trailered or sits 3 out of 4 weeks of the month.

Trailered is one thing, and often a trailered car is NOT registered and tagged for street use....hence it's a race car, or even a 'trailer queen'.
Neither Mike nor Dave's Marauders in the video are trailered race cars.
You confuse 'daily driven car' with 'street driven car'.
I only drive my Marauder about once a week...but it is a street car.

Indeed, street car is a street car, daily driver is a daily driver... some weeks my car gets driven every day sometimes it sits for weeks because I take the bus to the law library... how often you drive a car isn't what makes it a street car

I've seen streetcars in Baltimore in the '50s and 60s. You don't have one ;) Here is what a "streetcar" looks like >>>> http://www.baltimorestreetcar.org/carstock.html

Stock everything. Internals, block, etc. My mods are Trilogy S/C, Kooks headers, 3.0 pulley, Lidio tune, stainless exhaust, balanced drive shaft, 4:10 gears, Eaton posi, Widened wheels, line lock, Baer brakes, K & N air filter, focus electric fuel pump, various gauges to make sure all of this stuff is not about to blow up, 3% window tint, Lorenzo W19 Gloss Black Wheels, underbody lighting kit, badgeless grill, rear emblem delete, tinted tail lights, 5 gigawatt Pioneer AVIC D3 stereo with a JL 12" sub in the trunk, and the best mod of all: windshield wiper delete! There may be more, but that is all I can think of now. All I know is that my wife has 7 carats of diamonds to balance the equation. :D

Often enough to have parking tickets. It says in the rule book after the paragraph that says trailers are only ok when a car is broken.

Rich those cars were in the parking lot. :P
