Headed north in the morning, using the MM to drag the boat and buddy. Weather forecast calls for flurries! Hope no one tells the fish!!!! First long trip trailering with the Marauder, looking forward to it. Need some time away from the home and job.:fish:

What part of Ontario are you heading North into? Over the last 6 years we would travel from Omaha up to Ear Falls, then hop on a float plane for an hour fly farther North into fishing or moose camp. Enclosed PIC shows the area we "stomp" around in.

we'll be a few klics east of Elk Lake. North to New Liskeard left to Elk Lake. From there we can fish the main lake or do a day fly in to a few lakes. Don't drive to any of the little side lakes since I don't have the 4 wheeler any more.
The boat is just a 16 1/2 Lowe with a 50.

Good luck with the fish and keep the flurries north of the border please.

Uhmm, we've had 3" of fresh snow on the ground as late as May 23 here. It was cold enough to snow here this morning, in June

When we got up there the snow was gone but they had quite a snow storm on Sunday, couldn't see across the road. The lows were in the high 30's and low 40's. Fishing was slow, the best was a 4 pound smallie and that's never bad.
The Marauder pulled like a charm and I got 19.25 mpg while pulling the boat. I'm ready to go back!:D
