My #8 cylinder on 03 Marauder wouldnt go over 100 PSI and would make a hiss noise unlike 1234765 cyl. So i put 100 PSI into #8 to see where the leak was and it came from 8 to 7. I figured it was a blown head gasket, when i removed the drvers side head it had "EMB 1653" in engraved in the back. What does that mean? Somebody changed it B4 me or is it a Signature of who built it?
Might be a valve seat came loose. It has happened to a few others here.

You could probably have the same problem that I had...Where the cylinder head has a defect....Usually it's on the drivers side rear, cylinder #8..Do you get a check engine light, when the motor is nice and warm? Does the car shake while you are idling at a light? If you have a Power Train Warranty on the car, and you have not gone over 75,000 miles...You can have it replaced..You will need to pay $100 deductible...Hope that helps
