I need to know who are good Blues artists. I don't know much except for Robert Johnson, Lefty Loose and a few on Chess Records.
Who's a good Blues artist? NO WHITE PEOPLE. First genration only please.

Many good ones named.
Also try Detroit Jr, he passed away a few years ago, his song "Blues on the Internet" on his last album became a cult favorite and used to be played alot on XM. The whole album is good.

being black or white has nothing to do with it...SRV was as blues as it gets +1...would also list Satchmo, Etta James, Magic Sam (Dude- he IS Sweet Home Chicago), Junior Wells
