I want to know who did the original versions of these songs. I'm going record hopping tuesday and want to find these 45s. If anyone needs anything let me know. The record store I usually go to gives me huge discounts for outdoing the store owner on music knowledge and probably because I am 1/3rd his age and love this music so much. I'm usually there for a minimum of three hours because of just talking about ROck n' Roll and how everything sucks these days... at least what's known. It's a fun place to be, it's my church. ;)

Help me out here guys.

Thanks.

Maybe I'll skip eating for a year and finish the 65 Chevy.

Im not a Doo Wop buff but I do have great skills finding crap on the internet.

Little known fact if this is the same song.....

This came from a music CD with old doo wop songs.

Paul Simon has already had one mention in these notes and it`s about to be two. Why?
Well, in his pre- `folk star` days with Art Garfunkel, they were effectively the worlds first Everly Brothers tribute act, under the moniker of `Tom & Jerry`. Paul seemed to have been searching for a stage name as he recorded under several in the late 50`s; `Jerry Landis` being one and True Taylor being another. It was in this latter alter-ego, that he wrote and recorded `Tick Tock`. Unreleased until years later, this is probably the first `official` release of the song....ever. A catchy hook and more great bass…well done guys!

Oh and Dom, This second one was simple, The answer was in the comment section of the youtube video!!
