Traded the 05 Montego today on this Norsea Blue 09 GM. Only had 9,500 miles and was Certified Pre-Owned (6 year powertrain warranty). Still smells new!

What the heck is the "Ultimate Edition"? There is nothing about it on the Merc website that I could find. Seems to be the same as a regular LS, anybody know the story?

The only power adder I need is my right foot!

The Ultimate Edition was a trim level higher than the LS (some extra equipment but I don't recall the details). Rear air and HPP was still an option on the Ultimates through 2007 and maybe 2008. For some reason I was thinking that rear air and HPP became standard in '09. Someone correctify me if I'm wrong.
You might be able to see the original sticker for your 2009 by using the link below and substitutinf your VIN for the one shown. The link does not work for 2004 and below.

Thanks for the link, I was able to pull up the window sticker. No air suspension and I just realized it has those damn daytime running lights. Didnt notice that before. Im going to see if there is a way to disable that crap.

The contrast between the two cars side by side in the garage is striking. The simplicity of the Marauder design conveys an elegant image of massive proportions.

It's You, Jim.

Yeah, it reminds me of my old P71 G-Ride I had back in the day. Learning some stuff tonight too, there are only Grand Marquis LS's now (no GS's) but there are "LS Fleet" and "LS Retail" cars. Fleet cars (mine) have a couple of less idiot lights on the dash, do not have adjustable pedals, do not have a parking brake automatic release, no fog lights and have coil rear suspensions instead of air suspensions. I wonder why Ford would go thru the trouble of making two different types of LS's? They both have leather interiors ect... I guess its a money savings thing an LS Fleet is basically a GS with a leather interior. Ive got to figure out how to disable the DRLs.

I don't think the DRL's are meant to be disabled. It's like some folks removing the air bag stickers from the visors, terrible consequences.

See ya Sunday for breakfast.

The DRL's can be shut off at the dealer thru the Computer. Who knows how much they would charge you to do it though.

Thats my FLH; a damn tight squeeze in my garage! You should see how close to the walls my truck is in the third bay. I have about 2" to spare on the sides of each of my cars and my truck has to be up against the sheetrock in front to clear the door at the rear by maybe an inch.
