Man, the car I always wanted!!!!!!!!! It belongs to a friend of a friend and I installed a clutch in it yesterday, in a new record time thank you. This car is completely unmolested, still even has the vinyl door guard from front to back wheels. Skinny stock tires w/the steelies. It was a 70 RS, red with white stripe, black int. with blk/white cloth seats. The Muncie trans shifted sooooooooo smooth and had much nicer (longer) gearing than the T 10's i've rowed. I've owned four 78-81 Z28's, but none of them compared to this. I am jealous, I might just have to get rid of my black very soon.

The 70's were famous for rotted subframes and rot in the bottom corners of the rear window. Your lucky to find one in restorable condition if you find one at all. The split bumpers are still pretty desirable.

Most definately NOT that clean, but she was a tight car with no squeaks or rattles and didn't even suffer the normal door hinge sag! I'm going to a BBQ on sunday and I'm hoping that he'll be there also. This time I'll snag a photo. It's just really rare to see a perfect example of what was offered 39 years ago and not molested.
