hi to all, opinions on first mod for 04 mm. which bolt on or "easy" mod will make most difference...say...$500 or lower..thanks in advance...

I personally prefer the 4:10 gears, but others on the board have different ratios . I think it depends on your driving habits and future plans. Ask the Super Charged M/M owners on the board for their insight. Martyo has one of the fastest N/A Marauders and I think he uses 4:10 gears, correct me if I’m wrong.

If a poll were taken, probably most people would start with a chip, and the most popular one on the board is Dennis Reinhart's. Dennis highly recommends changing the thermostat and plugs along with the chip, and once again, most people who have made this change speak very highly of it. On the other hand, I have applied many of Logan's go-fast stickers all over my car, and dyno pulls have proven at least 5 HP gain for each sticker. I'm up to 658 RWHP right now.:lol: Seriously, call Dennis Reinhart to talk about what we call "Stage I " mods, and you will learn a lot from a good guy.

I just bought the stage 1 performance kit from Dennis which includes the 4.10 gears, custom chip, plugs and thermostat. I hope I have the same feelings Merc about the 4.10 gears. I also bought the sway bar too.
