Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum and also new to working on cars this "complicated". My other driver is a 74 Datsun 260Z. Needless to say, it's a lot simpler to work on. Anyway, I'm replacing the serpentine belt on my 03 Marauder and I'm having difficulty getting the belt tensioner back on, it's a REALLY tight setup! Can anyone tell me how I go about doing this? Maybe with a picture of what the finished result looks like? Thanks

I usually put the belt on all the pulleys but the alternator, then I push down on the tensioner and pop the belt over the alternator pulley. This always made it easier. There should be a diagram on the radiator cover.
Are you sure you have the belt completely on the pulleys?, sometimes the belt dont seat completely under the crank pulley. Its a pretty easy job.

If I'm reading right what you're trying to do,
The tensioner should be put on before you try to installing the belt. That way there is no tension on the tensioner while installing it.

If I'm reading this correctly, you removed the belt tensioner assembly to change the belt? I changed the belt on mine last week. It took a couple of minutes. Not too complicated. The belt tensioner does not need to be removed, just put a ratchet and small extension in the square hole in the bracket and move it until the belt is fee enough to remove and install. I worked from the bottom up when putting the new one on.
Sorry, my wife's out of town with the camera or I'd send a pic.
