this was posted on CVN a few days ago, they are accepting donations, to help defray the cost of lawyers, and such.

I like his work and sense of humor. Do you think the judge would have a sense of humor if the guy made an origami barrel monster out of his arrest warrant? Maybe not:confused:

The guys name is Joe Carnevale. Maybe he was making a parade float? Maybe not:confused:

Probably should come up with $360 to buy some replacement barrels though. Who knows, the company could drop the charges if he makes restitution.

100's of those things get destroyed on job sites all the time. I personally destroyed a few with a trailer when pulling into lane closures when the laborer is too lazy to move the barrels over. :D

Send that to NY and I guarantee you'll see it on every job site lane closure right up until someone steals it.

Very ingenious and creative, but just another nit wit that can't keep his hands off other peoples property.

The company that owns the barrels doesn't want to press charges. They think it's a good idea to get people to slow down. They even offered to give him barrels..... he just has to ask.

They are ugly by themselves and get stolen. Now someone wants to make art out of them. Guess what will happen to them?

That is pretty awesome if you ask me, I agree that most people would be slowing down with that in a construction site to check it out.

Was never sentenced to jail. Got 50 days community service. I think he did part of that making the dinosaur.

That pic showed up in one of the car magazines about a month or two ago. Can't remember which one though. I thought it was rather clever AND artistic. I agree that the "barrel monster" has given that company alot of free advertizing.
