I had my girlfriend takes these recently. After one GTA, one accident (all last year BTW) and a donor K5 this is what you get. It's still fun to drive and I'm never getting rid of it. This proves it's not a POS. It's been quite a truck and it'll be around for a long time.
Enjoy!

Remember these???
I got the donor truck for $300. A NOS door was $738, not including shipping! The donor truck saved mine and saved me big money.
NOTE: Do not ever tow a K5 backwards!

Haha the photo with you laying on the hood pretty much sums up your experience towing the donor trunk home lol. What happened to all the parts off the donor truck anyway?

The guy got back what was left of the truck. It had a good engine and he wanted it back. It didn't bother me as long as I got my parts. So he got the truck back minus both doors and the right 1/4 panel. Plus it was missing part of the floor to fix the damage on mine.
A tow truck driver wanted it as soon as he delivered it back to the guy. He took the truck and hasn't paid since, it's been over 6 months since the driver took the truck. Every once in a while the man that sold me the body will call, but that's his mess that he caused. I called the company for him twice, but that's all I could do.
I wonder what's going on with that truck right now.
