I'm assuming you're talking about the negative camber? It's just from the movement of the suspension.

Everyone has a hobby or an extreme they practice as therapy against this whacked out world. This is his.

It takes a friggin ridiculous amount of work to make this happen and keep the car drivable. Well engineered (yes, I said engineered) cars like this maintain a good ride (I'm assuming air).

The wire is only near the tire when slammed.

Can't RIDE slammed, just park!

There would be no bumps at 40 in that position - the frame is ON THE GROUND!

The air suspension raises the car to I'm sure a slightly lower than stock ride height.

When it does, the camber corrects itself.

The car would be ALIGNED at a certain height and pressure for driving.

The negative camber is caused by the geometry of the unequal (top shorter) length A-Arms.

There's more work in that suspension than in ANY supercharger install!

To clarify, it's not my car. I do own a bagged vehicle that does lay flat on the ground.

thanks for clarifying rich. As he mentioned, the air bags work the same way your rear air suspension does.

The amount of work is rediculous, because if you look under your car, look at everything in the way of the frame being flat on the ground. The guy built an entire new engine cradle, new control arms, raised the motor, and redesigned the rear suspension.

That's pretty sweet work even though I have never been on the big wheels and slammed to the ground, I'd prefer a hydro setup with smaller wires.

+1 one on the gasser look. I didn't care for them back when they were running in the good old days, but now they rehash alot of memories and i've grown to love them, red tint and all.

How about rat rods? When the term became popular awile back I hated them, now I understand the concept, when done right, and that is too build a unique powerful roadster or equivelant and build the fastest, meanest thing on the road with your limited finances and knowledge of fabbing. Now I get it and respect it and will also quite possibly build one myself down the road.
