I have an 03 300A with 49,800 miles on the clock. What are the pros and cons of adding a supercharger kit besides the price? I already have a DR tune which I am very pleased with. Thanks for all your input in advance.

How fast do you want to go? if you go S/C get ready to put other $ in the car as other things will need upgrade to! with a S/C things break (putting down alot more power) even with a good tune. Even doing everything right it can still cost you $$$$$$$$. I guess the question to you what do you want out of youre car?

Only "Cons" that I can come up with are, of course, the cost of the system as you mentioned.....and possibly widened rear wheels with tires!!
EVERYTHING else can remain stock and live a long life provided you don't do BURNOUTS and do a lot of racing...even then you can expect a long life and a bunch of fun if you take reasonable care of it!!!:bows:
I installed my ProCharger in November 2005 at 84,000 miles and just last week went over 200,000 miles!!!! WooooHoooo!!! Still gets 17-18-MPG around town and 21+ MPG on the highway.....I lost about 1 MPG due to parasitic loss of the engine pulling the blower??
I have rebuilt the trans (160,000 miles) and the rear end (177,000 miles) and that's about it...except normal tires, brakes, belts, plugs, etc..... My engine still puffs a little smoke at start up every now and them but uses ZERO oil between 5K mile changes......BTW, it still runs as great as ever!!!
Go for it and DON'T LOOK BACK!!!:shake:
My $.02.....

Cons, more weight, and more moving parts to go wrong.
Pros, Vroom vroom.
Set aside a tire fund.
I'm on my 3rd set in less than a year! :D :burn:
And NO my car isn't a daily driver.

The only down side is fuel economy, I usually get 12-16 mpg maybe 18 if I drive extremely careful.

I installed mine at 48,500 (last june) and have put ten thousand on it with never a failure. I have raced it only about 25 times and drive hard only every now and then. I never beefed up anything untill my jmod this last spring. Don't flat out abuse it daily and you'll be fine.

The only Con is a greater propensity to get a speeding ticket!

Thanks for all the input. I have not decided what I want to do as of yet. I am setting aside money to get this done maybe later in the year. My mom just bought a new 2010 Mustang GT. We rode around the block the other day and car it tight! I told her we needed to line them up stock vs stock. SHE WAS GAME!!! Next time they come to my home town she said she would bring. Hers is suppose to be at 310 hp. This might help me determine about a super charger. Again thanks for all your input.

If she can launch well enough, she will spank your stock MM.

Spank is right. She will kill you by a full two seconds or more if she knows how to drive.

Well I guess she will have something to brag about. If I had to loose I would rather it be to my mother.:D

Con would be mileage I guess.
How much mpg does it take to spin a trilogy?
That is: once triliogy is installed even if you are gentle and don't generate boost what will the hit be to normal MPG's?

I have picked up 1 mpg on the highway at a constant speed of 70 believe it or not. I've never checked in town but really don't see a change unless i'm playing, then its sucky sucky time.
