Son John sent the link to Ford's special edition Iacocca Mustang. Limited to just 45 cars, it's doubtful there will be one living in the bay next to Sunshine any time soon. In any case, I think it's wonderfully done, and hope to see one of 'em some time. Here's the link..... http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/iacocca-silver-45th-anniversary-edition-ford-mustang-introduced/

Great links and great sheet metal work!!!!!
Sure hope you never have to replace the unique front or rear facia/bumpers!!!!
45 and all sold by Galpin Ford in Cali. Chances of getting one are 'slim & none'.
Sorry to dissapoint everyone!

Someone should have asked Michael Leone to design the 2010 Mustang.

From AutoWeek magazine, June 29, 2009 (page 7) .....
"Planned for a limited run of only 45 units, the "I" edition features 5 hp more than stock from the Ford 4.6 Liter V8; a 400-hp supercharged version is optional. Ford Racing suspension is standard, while 14-inch Ford Racing brakes are optional. ..... An Iacocca signature dash plaque completes the package. ..... Official pricing is yet to come, but we expect the "I" to list for somewhere in the $60,000 range. ... The Iacocca Silver Edition, built by Metalcrafters in Southern California, is available exclusively through Galpin Ford at (800) 829-0744."
Time to place your order .... wonder how long it will take to add the $25,000 mark-up. Oops, sorry too late already.
400hp S/C option with a warranty. SWEET!!!

Very nice.
I like the way they kept the flat back tail lights instead of the 2010 stock canted lights.

I agree. The picture is a prototype. Seems there should be a more pronounced bumper area across the license plate area of the rear. The way it is, in my opinion, its too flat.
I do like silver......
