Have any of your lights burnt out yet?

My headlights haven't gone out, but I notice a lot of newer vehicle have headlights out. My K5 has had the same lights for 20 years and they still work fine. Did Ford make a car as well as GM used to or better?

No headlights, but my gage lights bit the dust, and a couple in the dash are done. I fixed the gage lights, I don't feel like tearing apart the dash just quite yet. Oh and occassionally the lightbulb over my head fails to come on;)

except for some random lights on the inside ( drivers window switch, tune button, #5 radio preset select) everything else is good.

I replaced both CHMSL* light bulbs and one guage pod bulb. I also replaced the other guage pod bulb, the license plate bulb because it was showing it getting dark, and the 2 amber parking light bulbs because of the color coming off of them.

My gas gauge bulb was burnt out when I bought my car & my headlight switch was no longer illuminated but still worked.

Come to think about it I had to replace the light for the gas gage too.

Did you have the amber flakes in the housing??? How da hell you get those out?

I have only owned my car from 23k to 39k miles and I have never had to replace any bulbs. I feel like my MM is getting way up there in miles though now that it's going to hit the big 40k!
