Get your laptop from your bag.
Open the laptop very slowly, turn it on.
Make sure that the pain in the ass person is looking…
Close your eyes for a couple of seconds… look up… take a deep breath….

I guess my since of humor is too dark. That just seems offensive in the wrong way. In the end it's poking fun at ones religion, since that's why those people really blow up stuff right? They have to honor god with death instead of life? As long as there is religion there will be war.

To me it's nothing to joke about.

If I wanted to get back at someone on a plane I would fart, bring some playboy magizines... not share, go on the phone and tell my girlfriend I want to do her until she has blood in her shoes... ya know stuff like that. :P

That is pretty funny (although I expected some sort of punch line at the end of the countdown); but I might have a different take on it if I was at 35,000 feet over NYC. I would also wait a respectable time "after" takeoff so that when the PITA goes ballistic, you won't end up back at Greenville with a bunch of irate passengers. ;)

While I probably don't fly as much as you do, I have noticed that the "talkers" and the PITAs are just non-frequent or first time flyers that are nervous as h3LL. They tend to latch on to other passengers who look relaxed and talk to them as a means of calming their own fears of flying. Popping this little gem on one of those folks could backfire bigtime. I suspect that you know this already and that is why you haven't tried it.
