I have a 2001 Crown Vic with 39000 miles.
Should the compressor come on every time I start the car?
Shouldn't work any different than the Marauder, should it?
It doesn't seem to be bottoming out but, it only cycles on about half the time when I start the car.
I can't hear any air being released when I turn the car off.
Thoughts?

it should cycle on every time you start the car.

there are some variables that will make it not cycle on, but it should not equate to 50% of the time.

That's what I thought. Need to listen more for the venting to figure out if that's working properly or not.
Will pay a little closer attention to what it's actually doing.

After a little research this is what I found out. The CV and the Marauder work the same way.
-The system should vent some air when the ignition is turned off and the the door closes after exiting the car.
-The system should come on to re-inflate the bladders when the ignition is turned on.
So...it looks like the system isn't working properly.
Anyone have any experience troubleshooting this problem and/or thoughts about what might be common causes.
