It is worth about the same as two toy-odas and it weighs about the same as two of them also...

The author of the article obviously drives a prius. The Grand Marquis is worth every penny. With the rear air suspension it is basically a Town Car with a $12,000 discount. The biggest, safest, most comfortable sedan...body on frame construction...adequate smooth power...rugged enough for taxi, police, and limo work.

It is the best car for the dollar ever made.

The perfect compromise between the Crown Victoria and the Town Car...just wish they made a Grand Marquis L.

How long will the Panthers be made? I will always own a body on frame rear wheel drive 18 foot long car. They always have to make limos and taxis right? I have to buy the last Town Car L. Otherwise I will be driving a full size truck I guess... No obamamobiles for me (or should I say Barry Soetoromobiles?)...let's see the White House buy 40 mile per gallon cars!

Lets see, for my trade and cash I paid 18k total for a 2009 LS with 9k miles. That includes tax. How is that overpaying? You can get a brand new one for about 21k. Stickers are for idiot customers and dumb writers.

This is just wrong. I think the GM is an excellent value. Hannah looses her keyboard privileges for the week.

We knew this all along. At MV III (August 2005), Steve Babcock said that F-L-M made about $10,000 profit on every Marauder sold at the $35K sticker price. Nearly as much on GMs and CVs. That profit was offsetting losses in other vehicle lines .... and helping to put gas in Elena Ford's yacht too.

This ain't about value. Its about sales price/cost to produce. In the case of the Marauder, that was about 1.40 or about a 40% profit on a car that cost $25K to build. I got mine for $27.5K at the end of the '03 model year. That is still a decent 10% profit.

It's a shame that they translated "best bang for your buck" into the "most overpriced". MGMs have always been an extreme bargain when purchased slightly used.

This is just more greenie propaganda from Nancy, Al and company - trying to convince people that the RWD, v8 cars are crap, a bad value, BAD BAD BAD and don't you buy one!!!

You'll buy your smart-car sized death trap and like it.
