View Full Version : 3 Teens demolish a 2010 Mustang GT

Darwin must have been on lunch break when this happened.

Three 19-year-olds managed to convinced someone to give them the keys to a 2010 Ford Mustang GT, and being teenagers, completely destroyed it after the driver lost control. Amazingly, they all walked away.

The story is unconfirmed, but the way it goes is three 19-year-olds somehow got the keys to a 2010 Mustang GT for a test drive and commenced to drive it like Road & Track they stole it, leading to the inevitable loss of control and complete demolition of the car. The crash was violent enough to destroy every bit of front-end body work, crinkle the main cabin structure and tear the front suspension off. OFF. None of the kids were wearing seat belts of course, and one was ejected from the vehicle in the crash, but unbelievably they all walked away with scratches and bruises. Everything in the story is believable, though stupid up until that last part about no serious injuries. If it's true, these are some very lucky idiots

Too much intrusion into the compartment...going at least 100 according to the pinned speedometer.

The ONLY way they survived is if they both got immediately ejected. They need to buy their guardian angel a beer and buy some lottery tickets.

I tend to agree. Far too much damage. A 100 to 0 MPH ejection ain't healthy. One (1) survived -- possible. Two (2) -- doubtful. All 3 with just scratches and bruises seems to defy the laws of Physics and Probability. How did that 3rd guy get out? Through the windshield and past the crumpling hood and flying glass or out the side window at the same time as the driver or passenger. There is much more to this story.

FYI. Now is not the time to be buying Lottery Tickets --- any luck these guy had is ALL USED UP.

I want to know exactly how they did it...that's some bizarre damage right there. Almost looks like it was done on purpose with a jackhammer and a jaws of life...

Its not just kids, some 60 year old nit wit drove 90 mph on the wrong side of I481 here until he struck another vehicle head on. Killed himself his passenger and a young woman going home from work. He had to know, he went 15 miles in the wrong direction before the crash. WTF is wrong people today :mad2:

Mustangs don't trip my trigger, they could launch semi-trucks loaded with them across the Snake River ala Evel Knivel and it wouldn't bother me. Except for the 68, 69, 70's. Those were sweet. Image if this post was about a stolen Boss 429, doh! Even I would cry then.

GREAT! So three a-holes survived stupidity. That means they are free to endanger others lives again. Thats wonderful. Sorry to the parents but they would have been better off dead and good ridance. Not to worry though. They will do it again and probably kill someone thats completely innocent.

Don't buy that anyone escaped major injuries in that carnage. IF someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt they likely became part of the car. It looks to me like they plowed the back of a semi at exactly 102 MPH. What a waste of a great car.

I recall once when I was in high school in 1973 (I must have been all of 16 at the time) dropping by a Ford dealer's used car lot with a buddy of mine and I got to "test drive" a 1970 or 71 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler with a 429 and a 4 speed with no salesman. They just gave me the keys. Needless to say as soon as I was around the corner I just had to see "what that car would do" on the interstate access road. It was scary fast. Anyway teenagers do dumb stuff.

I still drive crazy, but I don't open a car up until I know it's limits. Plus when I start to lose it I just let off the throttle. Works everytime! No accidents for me... except black ice, but what can you do about that?

I've had a few wrecks myself from teenage spirited driving. Perhaps thats why I have REALLY mellowed out over the years, except for burnouts ofcourse....:burnout:

Wow! This gives teenagers a BAD name. They are the reason I had to test drive my mm with a salesman in the car. then they tried to sell the car behind my back cuz they thought at 19 by myself that I'd never be able to get it. Needless to say when I called them and told them to detail it and I was on the way to pick up the car they were shocked! To keep this thread on track, been driving legally since I was 15, never been in a wreck driven about 300,000 miles in my short 4.5 years of driving. And gone through a few cars bit my newest addition (marauder) is here to stay!

Funny you should say that, some knuckle head destroyed his girlfriends, father's Mustang this Saturday night in Carlisle. The kid was trying to pull the fender liner off the r/f wheel while his two moron friends were buffing the rest of the car. R/f fender, bumper cover and headlight crushed, l/r bumper cover peeled off and the muffler was on the floor pancaked and these two "future leaders" were buffing the quarters.:lol::lol::lol:

We were just coming out to the parking lot to leave and were taking in the sight when the girl whose father owned the car asked us to go away making "shooing" motions with her hands (I almost laughed). I said "NO - that's MY car." making "pointing" motion with my finger and the morons moved away from it like a cloud of flies!
I would love to have a video of the old man when he sees his car!! I would have a stroke if it was mine!!
