I operate a drill rig. I drill ground water monitering wells, soil sampling, rock coring and much more in the drilling industry, operate geoprobes too. HAZMAT etc.... I love what I do. Been doing it 15+ years and in the middle there, I went to college for 3 of those years while working full time but realized I love what I do. So I quit school. Can you blame me. I get to play with big tonka toys in a very big sand box.:D

Retired Navy Aviation Machinist Mate (Jet Engine Mech) by trade. Spent most of my 25 years as a Squadron Maintenance Chief. I loved my job! Retired for 8 days, took a vacation in Ft Myers, Florida and went back to work. Retirement was nice but exhausting and didn't pay well. I went back to work for the Navy as a civil servant this time. Still only working half days (12/12) however the pay is much improved. I still travel a lot but not 6 months at a time. I'm home most every weekend. I usually travel by commercial airline now verses a 90 ton warship. Berthing accommodations have also improved significantly.

I work a experimental unmanned carrier based aircraft program. Lot's of fun and I love this job as well! I'm very fortunate to be getting paid for doing something I love.
