Capt Bill Vawter was a my friend since Sept 27,1949 when we reported to Randolph Field, TX as Aviation Cadets for Class 50F. His room was 2 doors down from mine. When we finished our tours, we were in the same class of new hires for American Airlines in April, '56--he retired 2 years before I did. We both were initiated into the same aviation society and until his death, we saw each other once a month. Today he was buried in the Dallas/ Fort Worth National Cemetery. The cemetery was opened in June, 2000--by the end of today, there will be 22,908 veterans buried there--if you think Freedom is free--think again--every priviledge ---not a right--was paid for in human blood--mourn the REAL HEROS who gave you FREEDOM. GOD BLESS THEM ALL AND THE FAMILIES THEY LEFT BEHIND, Capt Maury Seitz, USAF
