I got a few more runs in today with the sticky tires. What a difference they make:banana2:

Yesterday's best was 13.225, today's best 12.007. I thought I could get an 11 second run, but it was not in the cards. Had a great time and think I represented pretty well.

I threw my camera to Crouse's friend and he got a couple of good shots.

It looks like there are no tires on your rims. What did other people run it in?

These are my track tires 35 series, kinda low profile. The big boys were running low 11's. Vipers, Corvettes, resto-mods. There was a nice Camaro with a 572 and some giant 325 width tires. He worked it down to about 11.9.

I was difinitely tire limited, a 245 tire on a 4400 lb car gets really pushed around.

J, we have video of your Marauder from Sunday, I seem to remember seeing Curt driving it, but you may be in some of the runs... I am editing the videos over the next several days (they are huge), but will let you know when they are all set to go!

Almost forgot...

Congrats to ProRauder (John) again on his 2nd consecutive year of pulling an award of excellence from the Car Craft show. That is an incredible accomplishment with the number of cars there!

Very very cool videos! Thanks for sharing them. I am sooooooo envious about the way your car sounds...

I did the autocross thing a few weeks back and had a blast. The local SCCA guys set up a pretty big course in the parking lot for the fair grounds that takes about 40+ seconds to navigate thru. There is another event coming up on 9/27 in Fargo for anyone that might want to road trip up this way. I will try to get more pics this time as well as videos.
