Has anyone else had the issue of brake squeal after installing the big Baer kit?
This is really annoying seeing as how much these cost.
I am looking for suggestions to alleviate this embarrassing issue.

I had that problem. Stopped driving my car for a while because of it and considered going back to stock:(. I ended up going with Napa "Ultra Premium" brake pads (PN: CMX-7599). Guaranteed quiet. The stopping power is noticeably less (maybe 10%) but no squeak and very little brake dust. It made the car fun to drive again. They still perform 10x better than stock.

Not Baer but I went with Metal Master pads. Not sure if they're still available but they work great.

Issues of this sort vary , but when new they needed to be "broken" in gently--for about 500 miles---...otherwise warping and squeals have been known to occur form reports from folks---I was gentle for 500 on mine and just now after 25k had the squeaks start but I had them "turned" and all is fine now---my .02c

Barry, your Pads are Hawk Pads used in a Corvette application. I forget which ones at the moment. I THINK they were Ceramic.

For some reason, I am seeming to recall the pads being Hawk HPS'.

I've got the same issue with my Baer brakes Barry. Only about 200 clicks on the clock. If no change after 250, I might try a light dusting of a rotor/drum spray called Squeal Medic made by Gunk I picked up at Autozone. There's also another spray that requires removing the pads and spraying the back of them. It's called Disc Brake Quiet Type 27 made by VersaChem. I'll have to double check, but I believe my pads are the same ones put on the Vettes OEM.

This advice defeats my purpose...I NEED the bigger brakes and that is why I won't go back to OEM littles.
I guess I will have to pull these pads.
Unfortunately, I was not the one that broke them in. They were broke in on someone else's MM and then went to me used.
I may need to just pitch the pads and get the NAPA version as suggested.
These squeel even when they are cool....:(

Barry,
Ditch the used pads.
Clean-up/turn the rotors.
Spray the Anti-squeal coating on the back of the new pads and bed the new pads per Baer's instructions.
I would not use the ceramic pads if stopping power is what you're looking for.
I use the Hawk metallic pads on my oem brakes and they do not squeal at all.
Good Luck,
Paul

Take the pads off and apply the anit-squeel / pad lube stuff. I forget the name of the stuff I use, (I'm thinking white lube) but this is the cheepest fix. Clean everything real good first.
