Saleen style stang wheels

Hey guys, im new the the marauder scene and last week I traded in my white 2002 Lightning for a clean 03 300A, it didnt have stock wheels but the dealer had put on 16inch Crown vic wheels and today I got them changed over to a set of Saleen replica S281 wheels in black. I think it looks mean, I have the 16 inch crown vics still but i dont know what im gonna do with them, maybe snow tires just in case? Here they are on the car today

I ended up going with 245/45/18's all the way around and i think it makes the back end look like it has smaller rims, but ill get used to it i guess.:burnout::burnout:

looks awesome. i think someone on here was looking to do the same thing but he wanted chrome. maybe this can help him make a decision. do u have any mods on your MM???

What were your mods to the Lightning?

My Lightning had a K&N intake, SCT Livewire tuner, & Bassani Cat-Back. Nothing wild but I sure did love her

I think your rims are the best non stock rims I have seen on a Marauder. I love them on your Marauder. I would consider buying myself a set if I were in the market for rims.

IMHO... looks funny cause the tires don't fill up the wheel openings....

I kinda like them, the rears look a tad tiny though. A lot better than 99% of aftermarket rims that others have put+ on.

Wow, that brings back memories. A buddy of mine is a SVT Contour guy. To date he has owned 2 blacks, 2 silvers, and 1 green. One of the silvers (a '98 E-1, I believe) seized the alternator and he thought it was the engine (because of the E-1 engine problems).

Mine is a 99 E-1, its an early 99 build number 298, Just replaced its motor this past march with a 2000 motor and trans. I love the little thing, shes probly gonna have to go soon tho, the Marauder kinda picked up the 4 door role

Are your wheels the stock wheels? They seem to have a grey tint to them.

On another note, has anyone seen or heard of a MM with "black chrome" wheels?
