My wife saw it on the way home from Myrtle Beach yesterday...license plate was something like "MRAUDR". If you are here, and you remember following a white Mazda CX-9 for a little while, it was my wife. :D

The funny thing is, I had just gotten off the phone with her with the news that I was taking my silver Marauder to meet the guy who was buying it. See, my wife and son have been with her family in S.C. most of the summer while I stayed home to work because she has just lost both of her grandfathers to cancer exactly a month apart. She stayed there to be with her family during this very trying emotional time. She and my 6-year old son, Sammy, were a little sad that they would never see my Marauder again and we had a lot of great memories with that car, the trips, the compliments, etc. :(

When the SB passed my wife she pointed it out to Sammy and said look Sammy...it's just like Daddy's...as I was on the way to sell mine.

So it was almost a way that my wife and son got to say goodbye to our first family car. For that, I thank you.

P.S. Yes, this is a sad story, but I sold the car because we are building a great home here in AL, and it was part of my plan for this year. And, I know the guy that bought it will take good care of it.

I guess that was ME......"MRAUDER" is on the plate since SC only give you 7 letters...so most folks ask if I'm "Mr. Auder"...UGH!!:shake:

Sorry about you wife's family losses!!:depress:

Wish I had seen them....I certainly would have waved!!

You're lucky, I am under strict orders from my wife that the DTR is NEVER to be sold. Not even to help finance a new Camaro or Challenger.

Cool! Do you remember the CX-9 in pearl? I know, just another regular car that you prolly won't recall. GA plates, Chatham county. Nothing special to make it stand out though. That's ok, as long as she loves it...:D

Also, she remembered that you were driving around during the day with the fog lights on...she knew I would dig that. LOL

Thank you. We are glad to be concentrating on the new house now, they will lay the slab Tuesday hopefully. This has given us something great to look forward to after the deaths in the family. Plus my wife and I will go Friday to pick out colors. I pretty much know my only real allowable input will be "yes, okay, that looks good honey, yes, I like that one, etc." :D

I've been seeing a Silver Birch on PA 16 usually going from Emmitsburg, MD, toward Waynesboro, PA or vice-versa, in the vicinity of Blue Ridge Summit. I'm usually in the Red F-150, the Pimped out Town Car, or the Silver Navigator, and usually flash my lights.
